Nicola Turturro was an instrument maker circa 1910's -20's in Coney Island, N.Y. who made interesting and innovative instruments such as the "Turnover", an instrument that was a Ukulele on one side and a Mandolin on the other, and the "Peanut Uke" which had a rounded back that resembled a peanut shell in shape
