George Houghton & Son.
George Houghton first made banjos around 1888 under the name "Reliance". The name was later changed to George Houghton & Sons. GH&S primarily made instruments for other companies. In 1962, George's son closed GH&S and became involved with John E. Dallas & Sons Ltd. (Jedson) where he worked until he retired from the business in 1965.
