Tiki King's Ukulele Database:

Conqueror

The Lable on the example I saw read: Made in Japan, Distributed by Villafan of Corpus Christi, Texas. The Conqueror name was originally trademarked June 29, 1925, by C. Bruno & Son, Incorporated, New York. for use on Ukuleles, Banjo's, Guitars, and Banjo Ukuleles. As far as I know, C. Bruno & Son were a distributor, and the instruments they sold were made by various makers, mostly overseas. C. Bruno and Son Inc. is currently listed as operating in Bloomfield, CT 06002 United States
